(CF)n
Graphite fluoride, deep processed product of graphite, is a typical molecular crystal, structural, non-stoichiometric fluorocarbon of empirical formula (CFx)n . At normal state, graphite fluoride is white or gray, non-toxic, non-flammable and non-corrosive with good chemical stability. As a booming industrial material, it has become a hotspot of materials research for its special performance and wide application. For instance, it can be used as solid lubricant, demoulding agent, water-oil-repellent, nuclear reactor material and negative electrode in lithium-based cell, etc..
